THE UNTOLD STORIES
Villa Ana stands proudly in Plaza de la Independencia, in the heart of Casco Viejo's San Felipe district, as a symbol of Panama's layered history. Built in the late 19th century and transformed in the 1920s, it was once home to the esteemed Arias family and hosted key institutions, from the first National Bank to Jazz Age gatherings. Today, it honors the legacy of Ana Mercedes Arias Icaza, its final resident, whose vibrant lifestyle captured the spirit of the Roaring Twenties.
